As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

    Role: Paraprofessional

    The Paraprofessional will work closely with our clinical team to provide day-to-day support for clients and families undergoing intensive interventions. This role is integral to ensuring the success of the families in our program by assisting in the delivery of services, monitoring progress, and fostering positive interactions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Client Support: Assist families during sessions, provide emotional and behavioral support, and ensure a safe and respectful environment for both clients and their families.
    • Monitoring & Reporting: Observe client behavior, track progress, and communicate any significant changes to the lead interventionists and clinicians.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, session notes, and progress reports to ensure proper treatment plans are followed.
    • Crisis Management: Assist in de-escalating high-stress situations and ensure client and family safety during intense moments.
    • Family Coaching: Support family members in understanding their roles within the intervention process, offering guidance on how to effectively interact and communicate during interventions.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care and treatment for clients.
    • Training & Education: Participate in ongoing training

    Qualifications:

    • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Experience: Prior experience in a mental health, counseling, or social services setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with addiction, family therapy, or crisis intervention is a plus.
    • Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work empathetically with clients in high-stress situations.
    • Behavioral: Ability to stay calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.
    • Background Check: A criminal background check and drug screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
